Like many, over the past few years I realised that I was venturing down a career path that wasn’t right. While the marketing agency I worked for provided stability, I found myself wanting more and wanting a new experience. I wanted to combine my passions of motorsport, automotive and travel with my work. After setting up this blog just over 12 months ago, I started to realise the power of influencer marketing. Following a few discussions with colleague and fellow influencer of The Debonair, Jake Cawthorne, we decided to go it alone. Momentum Social was born.
Focused on bringing brands and influencers together to create meaningful campaigns. We are attempting to fix some of the key issues faced in this growing industry. Sharing both our concerns and passion for finding long-term solutions, we found our own ‘Momentum’ in a global investor:
Avinity, the UK’s leading all-in-one engagement, loyalty and incentive solutions provider; has announced that it has bought a stake in Momentum Social, a dynamic young company dedicated to social media marketing.
As a specialist in social advertising, content creation and influencer marketing; Momentum Social has the skills and networks that will enable Avinity’s clients to reach and influence key and new audiences.
This investment in Momentum Social is a natural step for Avinity. Already providing clients with programme-based marketing services and pioneering social engagement within its programmes for employees, customers, members and trade partners for some time.
‘The guys at Momentum Social blew us away with their passion and knowledge. They impressed us enormously with their strategic and creative approach to social media management,’ says Avinity Founder and CEO Rupert Poulson.
‘Purchasing a stake in Momentum is great news for our clients. It means we can now give them easy, joined-up access to experts in what has become one of the most critical and fast-moving forms of business marketing.
‘Momentum is the latest company to join our continually expanding group of intrinsically connected, forward-looking firms. Each with a similar focus on finding innovative ways to influence people’s behaviour in order to improve organisations’ performance.’
